A beautiful home with lovely amenities and beautiful bathroom. Comfy bed and good pillows. Nice and quiet street but close to some great sights. Only slight let down was the process of check in.

This is a beautiful place to stay for a couple. We had 5 adults, and while we were able to fit all 5 of us, it was extremely claustrophobic with all of us staying. It would be great for 2-3 people and absolutely perfect. The bathroom was probably my favorite of all the places we stayed. The tub is truly an experience and was so relaxing. The checkin experience was the only downside. you have to go to another location that's about 20 minutes away by taxi to check in. They read you the directions (you've already been sent them) and agreements to the place. The nice part is they do transport your luggage for you to the actual place you're staying, but make sure to accunt for at least 30-45 minutes minimum added on. We were fortunate and took taxis, but if you take public transit it could add dditional unnecessary time to your checkin. we stayed at several places in Japan and this wa the only one that had us go to another location to check in and be read the rules, it was unnecessary

住的房子真的很不錯，我非常的喜歡，裡面的3C家電也都很新穎，生活非常方便。距離巴士站馬町很近，走到電車京阪本線清水五条站大概10分鐘，走到清水寺大概15分鐘。 但是，進去民宿前必須先到距離2.6公里遠的接待處報到，僅是為了拍住宿者的護照還有告知住宿者規定。接著必須提著行李箱上公車搭15站才能到民宿，真的令人崩潰。如果有帶嬰兒車那些家庭，可以另外叫計程車（大約一千七日幣）。

Pros: convenient location to Higashiyama area and possible to walk. Perfectly clean and nice aesthetic. The bathtub was a treat and the small garden was nice. Cons: the location is a little bit inconvenient to access the metro but is close to a good bus line. We were four and managed but it was snug. Major con was the checkin. We got a message the day of that we had to check in at the “reception” which was in a different part of town. We went by taxi, filled out a form, and were given the PIN code. It was evening and we then needed to secure a second taxi at night, on the street. Not ideal after a long day of travel. When we finally got to our place (finally managed to get a taxi) the info we received at the “reception” was in a notebook anyways. In short: We could have just as easily been given the code and gone straight to our place saving an hour of wasted time. We’ve done self check in in Japan many times without any issue and would suggest this listing do the same.
