Casa Laudien is strategically located next to Siracusa's recreational and cultural activities and is less than 2 kilometers from the entrance of Ortigia and only a 4-minute walk from the entrance of the "Rossana Maiorca" Bicycle Path, a magical tongue of land about 6 kilometers long that, through the old converted railroad track, follows the coast of Siracusa in a northerly direction.
1.7 kilometers away is the Neapolis Archaeological Park (inside it the Greek Theater, which comes alive every year in May and June, hosting performances of the Classical Representations), and the Paolo Orsi Regional Archaeological Museum.
Equipped and free beaches will be at your disposal both on the island of Ortigia and near Siracusa (Fontane Bianche about 17 km, Plemmirio 13 km, Arenella 11 km).
Casa Laudien is an excellent choice for travelers interested in a charming atmosphere, ancient architecture, good food, and the smells and colors of the sea, without the typical limitations of the historic center.

The area is well accessible by public transportation as it is served by buses and is 2 km away from the Train Station and the Siracusa Bus Terminal.
If you arrive by car, a free parking space will be available within the fenced-in context.
About the historical center of Ortigia, we suggest you to move on foot within the island: this is very small and everything within it can be reached in a few minutes.
If you would like to go to Ortigia by car, keep in mind that access to the island will be subject to vehicle restrictions according to certain time slots, as the island is almost entirely a restricted traffic zone (ZTL).

- SAT/PUBLIC HOLIDAYS 4 P.M.-2 P.M.
- SUN/HOLIDAYS 11 A.M.-2 P.M.
ZTL hours are subject to change on a seasonal basis, you can contact us for updated information.
Booking any garage on the island's territory (paid and guarded) will still entitle you to a "pass" that will allow you to circulate and park inside the island of Ortigia h24.
Fontanarossa Airport in Catania is about 60 km from the facility and can be easily reached by car by taking the Anas 339 road section in the direction of South Syracuse (about 40 minutes) and by bus by taking advantage of the Interbus bus lines departing every 60 minutes from the Airport and stopping in Corso Umberto 196 (2 km from Casa Laudien).
