SonRise Grass Creek Guest Ranch is an operating, vibrant and real Regenerative Agriculture Ranch focused on using cattle to increase grass production and sequester carbon. Our Cabins are designed for the farm curious and active seeker of all things homestead. We offer all-inclusive stay packages that include home-cooked, organic, meals (we are 40 mins from town) made and prepared right here on the Ranch. For all-inclusive stays our regenerative Rancher will be your guide - no question is off limits, no amount of curiosity is too much. With years of experience, our team can handle those who are hands on or, those who are new to the outdoors and nature. Perhaps you simply want to know how good food is properly raised. Or, maybe you are nearing retirement with the dream of living off the land in the wide open spaces, but have no guide or experience. We are here to help. Our passion is regenerative production - seeing land heal and restored to it's natural, symbiotic state of equilibrium between man, animal and plant biology. We've built the SonRise model successfully, and it will be our joy to share our methods with you.

If you are looking for an experience you will be talking about for the next 20 years than this is it. We stayed here this summer with our three boys on the way to Yellowstone. Driving into the ranch, meeting the staff and other guests, eating the delicious home cooked food, and helping out on the ranch were all absolutely amazing. As we entered the ranch we were immediately welcomed by friendly staff and guests. You can be as social or secluded as you like. Plenty of room to hang out in your own space or gather around the community fire pit. Doug (ranch owner) has a contagious energy about him that leaves his staff and guests with a feeling of, "that was fun, what's next!"

I can't recommend this cabin enough. We had an amazing time! We booked it just for a place to sleep between all day motorcycle rides and off roading but quickly realized it should have been a destination to itself. Everyone was very welcoming, the cabin was extremely clean and cozy and the breakfast was awesome! It was so cool seeing a working ranch and our kids had a great time seeing it too. I highly highly recommend staying here!

Veteran owned and operated! The hospitality and family environment is unmatched! Breathtaking scenery, knowledgeable caretaker of the environment and experts in all things cattle. Smiling face’s and open hearts welcome you at every opportunity! The scenery and people are only rivaled by the food! This is a must stay location! We will be back!

This ranch is an gorgeous location. While we couldn’t stay in the cabin due to some damage, Eve and Douglas were incredibly communicative and the cabin we stayed in was cute, clean, and comfortable. They were extremely welcoming and the ranch is just drop-dead stunning. Also, I highly recommend checking out the Cody Cattle Company show if you have a chance! We will definitely be back when we have the chance. As our first ever Air B&B experience, this was truly incredible. I can’t recommend SonRise Ranch enough.

Grass Creek is a natural spring fed creek that flows all year. We have exactly four neighbors - other Ranches ranging in size from 8000 to 156,000 acres. People are rarely seen - visiting us is an isolated, private and exceptional experience.
A visit to SonRise Grass Creek is an excellent means of entry into a deep, abiding connection with your food supply. We raise our own pastured, non-soy and non-GMO fed Chicken, Grass-fed and finished Beef and Pastured Pork using Holistic Planned Management and Regenerative Agriculture techniques.
On-site, seasonal gardens and local growers provide all other necessary ingredients required to feed the minds and bodies of our guests during their stay.
Because we grow our own food using Regenerative Agriculture, we offer homecooked meals with every stay. Please contact us for meal pricing.
Homegrown fun activities that range from a petting zoo to seeing our pastured animals rotate across a paddock designed to keep them an ever-increasing plane of nutrition are daily activities on the Ranch. Classes can be pre-arranged if you'd like.
SonRise Grass Creek Guest Ranch has four cabins and two RV spots dedicated for visitors. The small cabins (120 square feet, plus a porch) have either one or two double beds. The Homestead cabin, first built in 1897 is a fully restored, single room, log home. This cabin was built by the original settlers to Grass Creek and for many years operated as the headquarters to the Grass Creek Ranch that spanned many miles. After falling into dis-repair, it was remodeled and restored to its current state and now comfortably accommodates our guests.
We offer meals as part of your stay and when booking our staff will ask if you would like to include any Dinner meals. Prices for Dinners will be quoted at the time of booking, but they must be pre-arranged. Snacks and hot coffee (plus drinks) are always available for purchase in the guest lodge.
