A great stay! 5 minute walk to beach. Short drive to other state park beaches. Lots of room for family. Very comfortable and clean!

This was my first time getting an Airbnb and it was fantastic! Our host was extremely responsive to any questions I had. The house was very clean, close to the beach and very accessible to many activities. Plenty of room for a family. Thank you so much for being a great host!

Tom, My family thoroughly enjoyed staying in your Port Austin home. Short of being on the waterfront, it would be impossible to get any closer to the water. It was short walking distance to everything in town. The renovations on the home are very nice. Everything was super clean, furniture and beds in great condition, nicely decorated and a great fenced in back yard with a nice cement patio and lots of thick green grass for the kids to play in too. Having two full bathrooms and plenty of place to sleep, the home is a great place for a large family gathering. The ceiling fans throughout, along with the window air-conditioners and the stand-alone air conditioner in the kitchen were perfect. We'd turn them on a few hours in the evening, and shut them off at night. They really kept the place cool, especially since we kept all the window shades down. I was quite impressed with all the supplies in the home, from toilet paper, paper towel, hand-soap, shower soap, dishwashing soap, dishwasher and laundry detergent. I loved that the house was fully stocked with cleaning supplies as it helped us keep the place clean during the week and made it easy to do a quick clean-up upon our departure. I brought all of my own supplies and left some to replace what we may have used of yours too. Plenty of dishes, plates, bowls, silverware, knife-ware and other kitchen utensils aside from the microwave and dishwasher, and it was just like being home. Lots of storage for the food we brought with us too. The large kitchen table and counterspace provided lots of room for cooking and eating too, although we preferred eating in the back yard. Lots of outdoor seating! The large screen Roku TV gave us plenty of options for evening chill-out time. We loved sitting on the front "porch" and just people watching too. The kids loved the well-stocked game closet (real games, not electronic ones) and plenty of DVD's to choose from but we never got a chance to look at any of them. Streaming makes watching DVD's almost inconvenient anymore yet if the internet might ever go out, they would be great options on a rainy night for sure. With the beach so close to the home, we brought stand-up paddle boards (kind of long and awkward) but we carried them over to the beach, set them in the water and off we went. On days we wanted to sit at the beach, we put all of our stuff in a wagon, including a little pop-up cabana for sun relief, our coolers, blue tooth radio and tons of snacks. We couldn't have planned it out any better. Once the bulk of our family left for home, those of us that remained enjoyed the fabulous restaurants in town. Our favorite hands-down was The Farm on Port Crescent Road. We loved the brand new CatBird inside the Garfield Inn on Main Street except for the noise level. Hopefully they will get that under control. The Bank was nice too, but nowhere nice as the first two. Next visit, we need to try out the Bird Creek Farm restaurant too. Ice cream at the corner on Main Street was incredible. A Double scoop cones was monstrous in size and super delish! Thanks again for such a wonderful place. I can't imagine anyone staying here and being disappointed. Your place is fantastic. Jan Mack and Family!

Great stay with a great location and downtown very walkable for small kids! The fenced in backyard is a nice bonus as well. Kitchen is well stocked for any of your cooking needs. Host was very responsive with the few questions we had. We loved visiting Port Austin!
