Blake's tiny home is just what you would expect for a tiny home away from town, plus a little more. The inside was very nicely done and felt modern and cozy. The only negative for me was a very bright porch light that doesn't turn off and comes in a bit through the windows at night. It wasn't as secluded as I thought, it is in the middle of a property with other houses and structures. It probably feels a little more private in other seasons when the trees are full of leaves. This location was only 2 minutes from a site where I was working for the week so that was great, as well as Blake's friendliness every time I contacted him. All in all this place had everything I needed and was comfortable.

Lovely location; outstanding communication from Blake - timely, helpful, warm & professional! The Tiny House could not have been more perfect - just what I wanted for a long weekend. I can hardly wait to book again!!

The “Tiny House “ was exactly what we needed for our trip. Great location to many nearby attractions. Blake was very responsive to my messages. If needed again and if available, we will try to book the “Tiny House “. Thank you so much for helping to make our 41st anniversary trip so much fun and relaxing.

The pictures are accurate. If you are looking for peace and quiet in the country in Surry County not far from excellent hiking, this place is perfect for a single or couple. It is too small for families. You have to crawl into the bed, but you can clearly see that from the picture. There is only a hot plate and grill to cook food (+ microwave). The hot plate is a better quality one that does heat well and quickly. Bring your own seasonings and cooking oil. Internet works very well and phone reception is good. Living room furniture is very comfortable. Bonus: Goats in the backyard! Minuses--We couldn't find proper grill tools. Knives are very dull and need to be sharpened. TV freezes up a lot and the timing is off. There is a photo activated porchlight that is bright as day with no way to turn it off. The curtain over the front door is not blackout, so that light shines right into the bed area. Sinks have super hot water, but shower is only lukewarm and needs adjusting.
