We had a lovely couple of days at Sarah’s place. The property was immaculate with everything you needed. Lovely small touches of homemade shortbread, milk and fresh flowers and the fire laid out for us. It’s a lovely, peaceful and secluded property with a lovely big garden and we especially loved playing lots of family board games in front of the wood fire. We would definitely love to return for longer next time. Thank you Sarah x

We (family of 4 adults and a dog) had a lovely break at Sarah’s place. The lodge was as described and after a long drive from the south of England it was great to be greeted by a roaring fire and a nice, warm cottage! The location was beautiful, with a nice combination of being able to explore with also being able to ‘hole up’ for a few days. The location was also convenient to get into Edinburgh, if required, with the journey being about an hour and a half. Overall we had a lovely stay, and would recommend the lodge for those who’d like a peaceful stay in the borders.

Gorgeous place to stay. Was very peaceful and the dogs loved the garden and was fully equipped in the kitchen and had iron, cot, high chair etc. Thank you!!

Had a lovely stay with my family, everything was great, really enjoyed the fire also plenty of space for us all. would recommend and would definitely stay again

Had a wonderful Christmas stay at the lodge, the little touches like homemade shortbread, Bucks fizz in the fridge and beautiful decorations made erything extra special! we had such a lovely time! hope to be back soon
