As a couple of reviews have said before the pictures are a little deceiving, I really thought I would be located right by the water, the Bear room was a little in need of a some cozy welcoming vibe not at all comfortable, there was a entire side without privacy where the shower was located with about one minute of hot water (which I'm not one to complain about usually but why have that option at all then?) The outhouse was clear across the yard and I was picturing a lot more interesting common area. Everything just felt unfinished it was disappointing and we decided to leave early.

We spent part of our honeymoon here and it is such a cute cozy and clean little cabin in a great location! Perfect for us and a great price! Love your coffee shop too! Thank you for greeting us at such a late hour with no cell phone service!! Thank you for the peaceful atmosphere and privacy! We love the Yaak! 💞

Lovely and peaceful. Yaak is one of those out-of-the-way places that feels as if you have left it all behind...you literally have but the wi-fi is great for those that need to stay connected. Mira and Mike can be found working throughout the property which adds to the ambiance with their calm and peaceful natures. The property is absolutely pristine and the kitchen area is set up near the river and ready for BBQs and good times for those that prefer a livelier time. I could hear live music from the local bar and the whole thing felt a bit surreal. Pretty cool spot.

We had amazing time during our stay! Very much like being at home with everything we needed. She was very friendly and was very easy to talk with. A wonderful home away from home! We will be back to stay again!
