Big modern house on the beach with loads of space to either gather as a group or find a quiet nook to do your own thing. Great wi-fi meant it was possible to work from home while enjoying the Mexican warmth. Huge roof deck with various seats and loungers and plenty of cushions. The pool is fine but unheated, so the water was cold in January. The sitting area in the pool isn't heated either, and there's no jacuzzi. Kitchen is fully equipped and a basic charcoal grill is available. AC is through wall mounted units. Toilets have bidet attachments, a nice touch to minimize the issue of putting used toilet paper in a bin. 3 bedrooms, so realistically for 6 adults. One room has 3 double beds, so you could pack kids in there, but no more than 2 adults will want to share it. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Chelem has small restaurants and stores, but a drive or cheap taxi to Progreso is needed for top quality dining and shopping. Owner's rep was super-responsive and great to deal with.

Este lugar esta muy bonito. Es tal cuál las fotos, tenemos días de que regresamos de vacaciones pero mi familia y yo quedamos encantados con el lugar, esta muy amplia y cómoda la casa. La playa y la alberca muy bien. Un lugar para pasar unas vacaciones descansando y en privado. La playa esta muy bonita, y tal cual se ve en las fotos. Los host muy buena atención y comunicación.

Was für ein tolles Haus! Dank des tollen Emofangs haben wir uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt.. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die Dachterrasse von der man aus dei tiefliegenden Pelikane beobachten kann, sowie der Busch beim tollen Swimmingpool, bei welchem immer wieder Kolibris zur Nahrungsaufnahme vorbeiflogen. Wir werden sehr gerne wieder dort Ferien machen.

The place was just great, even though it’s really complicated to maintain a house on the beach, I would try to have it better maintained…. Just a piece of well intended advice, cheers!
