I think the credit goes to the owner Sophie, who was an excellent and prompt communicator, very kindly letting us in to the property an hour early. I don’t give 5 star reviews generally, as there is always something that can be improved. I could list a couple of things but in the case of the Star of the Sea I would be really nit picking. It’s as close to perfect as holiday rentals come. The house location is superb, sea view and a few minutes walk to the main town but far enough away to be quiet when the pubs close. The facilities and decor are really first class and good value in our opinion, the best holiday rental we’ve had in Broadstairs, all of which were a similar price point which makes Sophie’s place very competitively priced. You can’t go wrong with Star of the Sea.

Lovely House in a great location. Close to the beach and the seaside. The house was very well equipped and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Not a lot of communication with the host. Not much needed though.

The house was perfect for our family birthday trip. We have a 3 and 5 year old who were fine navigating the stairs. They loved having the top floor to themselves. Great location for the beach, restaurants etc. We were able to park right outside, but it was February. We would love to come back here in the summer. Thank you!

Great stay and home has everything you need however a few small issues. Wifi barely works and showers could not be used at the same time/not enough hot water for seven people in the home. Bed sheets were also a bit dirty when removed as we were asked when leaving the property.
