We had lovely holliday.The place is amazing. Beautiful view around house. We wake up with amazing mountain view and bird singing.House is very nice and cosy .It was everything what we want for holliday My children low fire .We spent every evening siting in the lounge. And they Lowe hot shower after waking with all day in Snowdownia. It's very shorts distance to driving for lovely Snowdownia.This holliday was one off the best.The owners are very happy to help.The way on the top is for people with good hearts or car 4/4 but we manage to go there with normal car.Next day we wasn't sure if we can manage go again because of the weather so Rosie was very happy to used her car and help for as.But we manage again.You have to drive very carefully. Thank You Rosie.Everything was perfect. I wish we can come again for longer holliday.I love this place. Is deep in my heart now.

You need to be VERY aware of the steep & very bendy drive up to the property on a muddy & pot hole ridden track. You must supply your own logs for the fire. washing up liquid, dish cloths & tea towels, plus oven gloves & extra rubbish bags. No welcoming items.

We visited in early January. We lucked out with no snow or heavy rain, surprisingly. I do recommend bringing 4WD as previously stated in almost every review before mine. We brought a larger 4WD vehicle but had no issues coming up or down from the Farm House. There are sections of the road that could be filled but it’s still drive able. - Bring bottled water if you do not want to boil your drinking water (kettle in kitchen) as it comes from natural springs & coffee grounds as they have an espresso machine. - The Farm house has plenty of silverware, plates, bowls, wine glasses, etc. No need to bring your own like others have previously mentioned. We did but found all these things were supplied. Please do not let the reviews regarding the drive, secluded area, etc deter you from booking a stay with Matt & Ela. They have been absolutely wonderful hosts & very attentive. This farmhouse is now on our top three places to stay on the Island.

Secluded, warm, spacious and beautiful. incredible walks on your doorstep and the steaks that they sell are delicious. We loved every minute of our stay. thanks for looking after us. Carl + Elaine

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The little cottage was lovely and has all the facilities you need. The driveway is a bit of fun as well (assuming you’re in the right car!) The surrounding area is beautiful, with lots of nice walks and cute little villages nearby. We had a good time trying the mountain biking at Coed y Brenin too. We will definitely consider staying here again when we come back in Summer to climb Snowdon!
