From the start to the very end of our stay, Kate felt as though we have been friends for years. I didn’t feel like a stranger at all. We were welcomed into their home and made sure we felt comfortable with anything and everything. I truly can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was and it really was about the care and attention she gave me and my family. We did run into a personal issue while we were skiing and Kate did all she could to help us and she did. She didn’t have to but she ensured we were safe and taken care of on all accounts. If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay, you should scroll past this gem. We will be coming back for sure!!

Kate & Gabe’s beautiful home was perfect for our weekend trip to Big Bear Ski Resort. The home is conveniently located just minutes from Big Bear Ski Resort, Big Bear Snow Play, Big Bear Village, restaurants, markets, and gas stations. The spacious backyard and upper deck had a fire pit, propane bbq, sleds, dining benches, and an area to play in the snow. The bedrooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We also had fun playing the golf arcade in the downstairs bedroom. The restrooms were both clean and one of them had a rain shower head which was perfect after a cold night out. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates and silverware. The living room was spacious and beautiful decorated; perfect for our party of four. The house was clean and did not have any type of odor. Kate & Gabe were very nice and we would definitely return to The Nomad Nook.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 and very comfortable and functional. Kate was very helpful and responsive with all communications. We look forward to another visit in the future! We also enjoyed the opportunity to walk through the Big Bear Retreat Center at the end of the street. Very serene and beautiful.

Kate was really kind and provided immediate responses from the beginning to the end, which was very helpful. The house was really clean, and the bathrooms were clean as well, which was nice. The home decor was really beautiful, and the bedrooms and beds were comfortable, making it easy to sleep well. My son enjoyed playing in the snow in the backyard and had fun with the games inside the house. It was really nice that I would like to stay again if I get the chance. Thank you so much Kate :)

We had a wonderful stay at this awesome cabin. Everything was perfect! Super easy to check in. The host took extra care that our stay was going to be great. We will definitely book again!
