Schöne, liebevoll eingerichtete Hütte in sehr ruhiger Lage am Berg. Das direkt daneben liegende Café wurde, zumindest bei unserem Aufenthalt, wenig frequentiert und war nicht störend für uns. Die Kommunikation mit allen Ansprechpartnern war jederzeit freundlich und problemlos möglich.

RED FLAG - Unjust Accusations and Policy Violations – A Disappointing Experience My stay at Chata Kalahari was far from satisfactory. From the beginning, I encountered issues that greatly impacted my experience. Firstly, the host requested a deposit outside Airbnb's platform, which was against the rules and immediately raised concerns about their integrity. The most troubling aspect of my stay was the baseless accusations I faced. I was accused of damaging the kitchen's countertop and a melted pan handle, despite no inspections at check-in or check-out. Upon careful review of provided images, it was clear the pan handle damage was pre-existing. Despite this evidence, I was forced to cover the costs. Additionally, I found another guest's review echoing my concerns about unfounded accusations, indicating a troubling pattern. I strongly recommend avoiding this accommodation due to these unjust practices, which contradict the positive experience Airbnb aims to provide

Our group of 4 adults and 4 kids (German and American) enjoyed the surroundings, the home, and our time there. The home was spacious enough for 8 of us and the outdoor area was perfect for hiking or just hanging out. A couple things to be aware of: There are 2 women who work at the cafe next to the house during the day, one of them is who checked us in. She was not very helpful at check in. She told us she didn’t have time to answer questions, we arrived 6 min later than we were scheduled to. She also told us we didn’t need to do any additional paperwork but then we got an email from the host saying that we did. On the listing there was a bbq and fire pit. There was a bbq but we were told by the woman in the cafe that we could not use it and there was no fire pit.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem tollen Ferienhaus. In echt war es noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Man hat sich sofort wohl gefühlt! Die unglaublich freundliche Art der Besitzerin und der Angestellten im Kalahari Cafe, die auf all unsere Wünsche eingegangen sind, haben diesen Aufenthalt für uns unvergesslich gemacht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
