Loved staying in this cozy cabin during a weekend trip to big bear. It’s about a 15 minute drive from Bear Mountain and Snow Summit and a 10 minute drive from restaurants in the Village. The nearby hiking trail was super nice and the game closet is stocked with everything you need for a weekend of off-the-grid fun. Love the ambience of the twinkle lights around the back firepit.

We had an amazing stay!! From start to finish, Dena was kind, helpful and responsive. The Honeybear Cottage is absolutely adorable, clean and cozy with delightful bear accents everywhere, and the house had everything as described. We lucked into a snowstorm to our delight, and alternated between cozy and warm inside and having the best time ever in the sledding area just up the street (which Dena kindly directed us to!). Our family of four comfortably slept upstairs and used the baby gate to keep the two kiddos contained at night (aged 2 and 4 - they slept in sleeping bags on the floor). Our kids announced that they wanted to stay forever, and were sad when we departed, but we assured them we loved it to and would try to return ASAP! Thank you again Dena for an unforgettable snowy weekend!!! 💕❄️

Dena’s home left us with a beautiful memorable experience. The home itself felt so cozy that my daughter’s even felt at home. The entire home was beautiful and extremely clean. Dena really makes sure guests have everything they need to feel at home and was immediately responsive when needed. I was amazed with all the amenities she provided. We simply fell in love with her place, it felt like we were the only ones there which to me felt perfect and private. We will definitely be booking Dena’s home again. We enjoyed our experience and her home was definitely one of the main reasons. Thank you Dena for hosting us, being so kind and for all the little things you provided that made this trip a great one especially for my babygirl who turned 3 and was able to see the snow for the first time and got to play with it in your gorgeous back yard.

We had a great stay at Denas beautiful cabin. She was very detailed with everything really. Every single thing you can imagine was labeled and easy to find. From the fire pit to the beautiful outside lights, everything was easy to find and use. My young daughters and wife really enjoyed our couple nights and loved celebrating my wife’s birthday at Denas place. Thank you!
