After booking over a month ahead for a long-term stay, he failed to tell me that he was overbooked for that room until after I showed up (a day after my reservation started). He said that I could crash in a different room for the night and then move to a third one the next day. Both were significantly different from the original I had reserved. Even with me arriving a day late, when I showed up the room he wanted me to crash in was still a complete mess, and he was cleaning it while chatting with me. He did seem pretty friendly and offered multiple suggestions of places I could stay or alternatives I could do however, when I reserve that far in advance, I have the expectation that the host will let me know if something major comes up like this before the day I get there. After I got there he was suggesting that if I wanted to cancel, I should select checkout late, so he still got paid for the one day before I arrived, eventhough he obviously didn't have a room waiting for me.

I needed a place for an extended stay that was safe and comfortable for my cat and I. This place was perfect. There's a secure side entrance and each room has its own secure entrance. Fin is also kind, helpful, and responsive. He helped me unload several things from my car when I arrived. Whatever you need, he will try to get for you. Whatever issues you have, he will promptly resolve. The building is old, but it is well maintained and cared for. I would stay here again and recommend it to others looking for an extended stay in Columbus.

I enjoyed my stay. Fin is a great host and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable—he swapped out the shower curtain, asked whether I wanted certain furniture in or out of the attic, responded to requests about light bulbs and such in a timely manner. You have your own private bathroom, kitchen, and living area in this listing. You do have the walk through the house to get to your “unit” in the attic, but that’s great because you also have access to the whole house, like the laundry in the basement, the main kitchen, and the spacious porch. There is a separate lock on your door. All the other guests were pretty quiet and kept to themselves (as did I). It is an older house and the price of the listing reflects that. I had a positive experience here, got what I paid for, and would recommend the listing to someone else.
