Built in 1889, this one-level victorian beauty was one of the earliest homes built in the historic Sylvan Park neighborhood. 12 ft. ceilings and spacious rooms make this 2,700 sq. ft. home a comfortable retreat for family and friend groups alike! The kitchen is a dream and comes equipped with stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, some coffee to get you started and plenty of cooking tools. Just 3 miles to downtown, but plenty of walkable spots to enjoy within this popular neighborhood. A few things to know about this house: She is FULL of historic charm and character, but given her age there are of course a few old house quirks like the occasional squeaky or uneven floor board and giggly door handle. The living space is all on one level and the stairs in the hall just lead to an unfinished attic which is locked off as a precaution. There are three traditional bedrooms (two with ensuite bathrooms). The fourth "bedroom" is the room with the green couch that converts into a sofa bed. It is a nice, spacious room all to itself, but I like guests to be aware that you do have to pass through that room to access the primary suite so it is not completely private. The back yard is quite big for an urban neighborhood and fully fenced to keep our furry friends securely inside. The guest house in back is where I live with my sweet brittany spaniel, Luna. She is a little shy and we also like to give our guests plenty of space and privacy, so if we are in town it's likely that you won't catch more than a glimpse of us-- unless of course you want to! We are very friendly and here to help if you need anything but we have no wish to encroach on your stay or limit your freedom to utilize the house and property.
