The listing is accurate, and I strongly agree with all the previous positive reviews. My memorable moments are enjoying the great filter coffee in the garden, a place of serenity! Nikolas is an attentive and thoughtful host through his communication and welcoming gifts. I would return again!

We had a very nice and peacful time in Voulismeni! The house and especially the kitchen are very well equipped. In addition, an idyllic, quiet courtyard invites you to linger and enjoy the sun. Parking directly in front of the house on the street. Nikolas had provided us in advance with all the important information and we were also very pleased with the delicious things he left us in the fridge. We even had the chance to meet him in person which we enjoyed very much. We would book the accommodation directly again on our next trip to Crete, as you can do a lot in the area.

We stayed at Yaya’s Cozy House for 3 nights in September 2023 - it is a LOVELY unit, in a charming village. A great taverna is easy walking distance away in Latsida (Miliaras Taverna, get the goat!) and you can also walk to Neapoli which has other tavernas, grocery stores, pharmacy, cafes, etc. It is a great jumping-off point for visiting the east side of Crete! Although there are definitely tourists around, none of these villages/towns feel like a tourist location. You will definitely want a car for this location - tons of gorgeous drives to be had through the windy mountain roads. We used Carwiz, which had pickup directly from the Heraklion port. The space was absolutely as expected and probably one of the nicest Airbnb’s I have stayed at. As in much of Greece, the ask is that all TP goes into the trash - no concerns with smell or cleanliness in this regard. Nikolas is a wonderful host who added thoughtful personal touches, and I can happily recommend!
