安德森(Anderson) · 整套出租单元 · 2室3床2.0卫 · 可住6人 · The HarmonyNest. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.
This beautiful apartment has been recently renovated. It's clean and charming. Join the health professionals, college students, and work specialists visiting town for work assignments, studies, and pleasure. Be close to the main activities: Restaurants, grocery stores, 3 minutes away. The 2 hospitals: 4-7 mins. Our guests will be close to Downtown Anderson (6 minutes), Clemson University (18 miles), and downtown Greenville (27 miles). Our 990 sf apartment is peaceful and functional. Our spacious dinning and living room will promote the needed relaxation. Master's bedroom with en-suite four piece bathroom; plus good sized walking closet. The second room has contiguous private four piece bathroom. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen and private laundry-room.
Nice clean older apartment with many added personal touches. Bows on the paper products, towels displayed nicely (2 per person), a snack and water for each guest, bathroom supplies, and a few kitchen supplies available. Washer, dryer, microwave, and dishwasher available, but we didn’t use them. Several extra pillows provided in master bedroom, but no extra blankets/throws. Beds creak a little but we slept well and felt right at home. Neighbors next door were very quiet and no one was staying above. The only noises were those from trucks/vehicles arriving and departing. Victoria was a great host who responded to any questions quickly. We plan to stay again on our next visit.
Very responsive & helpful. When we needed to extend he was super accommodating. Would stay again.
Our apartment is located in the desired East part of Anderson. There are plenty of grocery stores, gyms, parks and walking trails, gas stations, and the 2 hospitals are 3 and 6 minutes away. Downtown Anderson is only 7 minutes away. The eastside of Anderson, where our property is located, is very popular for its proximity to downtown, stores of all kinds, recreational areas, schools, banks, restaurants, etc.
Anderson is a nice small town with about 27,000 people that is most famous for being near Lake Hartwell. The lake is west of the town and runs to the north side of town, where lakefront properties are very desirable. This town is a kid's paradise for families who enjoy the outdoors and want to go boating, fishing, and hiking. Families may spend many pleasant days having a picnic at the lake. Many people come from all over to enjoy their summers in a vacation home on the lake.
One of the best ways to explore the city is to take a walking tour of its 16-block Historic District. Along the way, you’ll pass the Anderson County Courthouse, the P&N Railroad Depot, the Confederate Monument on the square, the Anderson County Museum and a 1764 Revolutionary War cannon dubbed “Old Reformer.”
Along with the many historic buildings, the downtown district is also home to an extensive array of casual and fine dining restaurants, from the elegant Sullivan’s Metropolitan Grill to the retro Summa Joe’s, known for its locally sourced dishes.
Equally alluring is the eclectic collection of shops offering everything from handmade chocolates to one-of-a-kind apparel to fresh local produce and products. Add to that several fun craft beer taprooms and breweries, some of them offering live music on weekends.
Just off Main Street is Carolina Wren Park, a popular outdoor venue for concerts and events, including a Thursday night block party, Friday movie night, holiday ice skating, yoga and Zumba classes and Shakespeare performances.
While you’re visiting the park, look for a Carolina wren sculpture hidden in plain sight. Part of a downtown scavenger hunt, the small bronze bird is one of 24 wrens that can be found roosting in iconic buildings and some unusual spots. You can pick up a brochure with clues to their locations in the Visit Anderson office at 110 Federal St., Suite 8.
Outside of downtown are several other acclaimed culinary landmarks, among them Split Creek Farm, a goat dairy that produces award-winning cheeses, yogurt and fudge, and Palmetto Distillery, the first micro-distillery in South Carolina to produce legal moonshine and the state’s most awarded craft whiskey.
Anderson also offers access to Lake Hartwell, named a Top 100 Bass Lake in America and one of the Southeast’s largest and most popular public recreation lakes. Visitors can get on the water from Sadlers Creek State Park, Darwin Wright Park or any number of nearby marinas.
The city is also the home of Anderson University, a private college serving some 3,000 students; the Anderson Arts Center, filled with original works of art created by regional, national and international artists; and the Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center, a 300-acre facility, playing host to concerts, sporting events, tournaments, festivals and more.
Warm and welcoming, Anderson will make you feel right at home however you choose to spend your time in this friendly town.
自我介绍
Hello, My wife Sonia and I first came to South Carolina to complete our master's degree. By the time we finished our education, we both were completely in love with the South. Sonia is a realtor/investor and I am a property manager, after being an educator for 30+ years. Together we have 5 grown up children. We love to travel and mingle with people while getting to know their history and culture. It has been our privilege to be able to travel to more than 21 countries in the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East; in most of which we have stayed in bed-and-breakfast homes. It has been a memorable experience every single time.
