We recently stayed at Tereze’s place with our 2 young children ages 2 and 5. It was lovely and just what we were hoping for. Safe, peaceful and lots of fun local places to check out thanks to Tereze’s very helpful recommendations. The animals were a big hit and so was the little toy room that was tucked away with puzzles and blocks!! Really comfortable beds and tastefully decorated space which is truly one of a kind, just like the host!! Highly recommend booking this place and we hope to be back one day!

Our stay here was great! I booked this trip as a gift for my mom for a family weekend getaway. Tereze is an excellent host and showed us around the place as soon as we arrived. The place was absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. We had the opportunity to learn to make macarons with her and they came out excellent! Great area with plenty to do nearby and Tereze also gave us plenty of extra recommendations. The animals on site were all friendly. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

This is one of the best traveling experiences we had, our two kids(4yr & 7yr)and us all had a blast. Tereze & Ugis delivered a 5 stars environment. Kids could not wait to get up in the morning to see Tereze’s farm animals. The neighborhood is very peaceful and beautiful. Great nature and hiking trails, local small shops and deli are all great. I could keep on going to share the experiences…. Truly memorable vacation. Thank you Tereze and Ugis.

When we stayed at Tereze’s place in 2022, I knew I wanted to come back someday. This week my husband and I did just that. Our stay was just as wonderful as the last time. Tereze welcomed us when we arrived and remembered us. The rooms were beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable, especially the huge bed. The house was close to the Vermont border and so many sites we wanted to visit so I would say it is well located. From Plainfield we went to King Arthur Baking, Quechee Gorge, Simon Pearce for lunch and a view of glassblowing. Just a few minutes away is a small family business that makes delicious local honey ( Hall Apiaries) She recommended The Top of the World hike for a spectacular view and she was so right. There’s a small store a few minutes away for things like orange juice, ice cream and milk. I will say again, I hope we will go back and stay at Tereze’s place again sometime.

Tereze is a rare host. The accommodations are a work of art. Attention to detail yields beautiful spaces. Converted attachment to main house has high ceiling, rustic beams, and eclectic furnishings, dramatic wallpaper in kitchen area. The beds were luxuriously comfortable. Tereze was home to greet us and make suggestions about various attractions in the region. We consider ourselves lucky to have chosen her historic site.
