MAGICAL! My husband, our 5 year old son and I got to spend a night here and we’re bummed we didn’t book for a longer stay! What a fun property to visit!! The window to the goat stables, come on, that’s just AMAZING!! My son found it to be hilarious to them through there. The 3 of us are animal lovers so this was perfect for us. First thing in the morning, my son said he was putting his shoes on and going to the chickens. Loved having access to all the animals. We even got visited by the family’s pup who is an absolute cuddle bug! 😍 Heather was 100% responsive any time I reached out! Super friendly and you can tell she genuinely enjoys sharing her space with you! We’ll be back! 10/10 recommend❤️

Perfect escape from city life! My kids were even off their screens most of the time! The place was definitely a lil small for 4, but that didn’t matter since we spent most of our time outside. It was a treat to be able to feed the goat from the bedroom window - which we did often because of its novelty. My kids also couldn’t stop snuggling the baby bunnies. The goats were a trip! That Dolly is an escape artist (tip for future guests for when she escapes - lure her back with feed). The animals are all friendly - so much so my toddler was totally fine wandering amongst them. Being able to use the pool and hot tub at the main house whilst watching Mean Girls on the TV screens there was also a nice treat! Heather was very responsive and friendly. We took her recommendation from her guidebook to visit the Camel Dairy Farm. It was great, we rode camels (they said they may stop offering it soon!) Overall, it was a great visit and we plan on coming back. We already miss the animals

This was our 2nd time staying at this airbnb & just love it. We were bummed it rained the first night as the goat & chicken area was too muddy to go into, but the 3rd day it was perfect & we were able to enjoy the animals up close & personal. We absolutely love the evening dip in the jacuzzi with those views! The accommodations are great & it is adorably furnished. Our only real complaint was the smell from the chicken coup. It looked kept up and clean, so we are guessing it was from the rain stirring up the ground, but the smell was pretty bad, so we didn't visit the chickens as much as we would have liked. We will definitely be back!

Heather's mini homestead was an absolute little gem for our small family of four. Our kids had an absolute blast- and thanked us profusely without us even having to ask! The beds were very comfortable - and all of the "plush" amenities did not disappoint. Heather really took the time to carefully craft a unique AND enjoyable experience. There were a basket of snacks (along with the fixings for s'mores) when we arrived - and most things we could have used while we were there IF I wanted to cook, lol... The animals were so sweet, and the playground equipment was an added bonus. There are really no negative things I would say about experience. Blame it on being tired as a MOTHER, but I didn't realize that the second bedroom is a LOFT, which was fine for our 7 year old, but not ideal for our 2 year old. Heather did have a pack'n play- but we are beyond that stage... The only other thing was that I wasn't really sure how involved we could be, but again- blame it on the tired mom :)

The location is great. Fun to visit with all the animals and be in the hills. Our kids loved getting to feed the animals. The outdoor space is big and the private hot tub was fantastic. The accommodation was smaller than it looked in the pictures. It was a bit small for 4 people, especially on rainy days. Not a lot of room for luggage or to unpack. The loft is small - not enough room to sit up as an adult. The ladder was fun for a 5 year old but not safe for younger kids to go up and down on their own. Heather communicated well and provided extras that made the stay feel extra special - snacks, supplies in the bathroom like hair ties and robes.
