What a beautiful house, stunning views to all sides and recently refurbished house to a very high standard. House is fully equipped and Claire a very helpful host.

We had the most marvelous family holiday at Claire’s beautiful property. The house has all the amenities of a hotel (pool, nice linens, separate AC in each room) but also feels like a beautifully kept home. The view of lake annecy is beautiful and the village where the house is located is very quiet and picturesque. We would walk to the bakery every morning and our kids would walk to the school and play soccer with local French kids every afternoon. The pool is also lovely and we had many dinners at the house on the outside patio. The bedroom layout works well for groups of families with many bathrooms and sleeping options. We will miss waking up to the beautiful view of Lake Annecy at Claire’s house.

My family and I had a wonderful week. Claire is an exceptional host and the house is incredible. The photos are great but it’s even better in real life. We loved the area too. We had a great week making precious memories, simply fantastic!

We recently stayed at Claire’s home for a week with our extended family and had a wonderful time. The house itself is, if anything, even more gorgeous than the photos. The bedrooms were comfortable, air conditioned and very quiet, with thoughtful touches such as shampoo and shower gel provided. The living spaces were beautifully finished and a joy to relax in, whilst the fully equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking and socialising. We had a lovely time in the garden, with our 1 and 3 year old desperate to either play in the Wendy house or splash in the pool. The pool’s wide steps and sturdy safety cover meant that the pool was fun yet wasn’t a concern in terms of the safety of our children. The location is perfect as it is very tranquil with beautiful views (especially at sunset!), yet it is only a short walk to the nearest shops and restaurants, and a 10 or so minute walk downhill to a gorgeous little beach on the lake. Claire was very helpful and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She was straightforward in the run up to our holiday and the week that followed, promptly returning our deposit. I would have no reservations in requesting a stay at Claire’s home in the future.
