This is Glamping in an environmentally responsible fashion. For all of us who want to stay in an unspoiled Ganges retreat, and see, without culturally distorting and damaging what we have come to enjoy and interact with, this place can't be beat. You get to stay right on the shores of the Ganges and eat the most amazing food while taking in the nature around you. Before our journey communication with the host was especially important given the some what remote location. Inder Jit, our host, made arrangements for us to visit near by sites and transport to and from the airport and supplied the most amazing 3 meals a day. We were in want of nothing. Inder Jit is a wealth of information about the area as well as many other parts of India and is a great story teller. If you want to stay in the Rishikesh area I can't imagine finding a better fit then this. It was fabulous!

The place was absolutely stunning and Rohit and the other staff were very attentive and friendly. We had a really lovely stay and I would highly recommend. The only slight negatives were that it was more expensive than I originally thought as the price advertised was just for 2 people (although I searched for 3), I would recommend being explicit about this in the description to avoid confusion. I also found Mr Inder Jit a little pushy in our correspondence, may just be a difference in culture.

Spashram is the second name for peace and serenity. If you want to relax, refresh and spend peaceful time with yourself and your loved ones than this is the place for you. The place is done beautifully with personal touch. The staff is courteous and the food served is of your choice and delicious just like home cooked. The best part is that there will be no other guest and you have the entire place to yourself. Time spent at there private Ganga beach is very relaxing. Wish I could have stayed longer.
