Judit is a wonderful host. She is attentive, thoughtful, and has great suggestions for things to do around the area. Her and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming as they provide an authentic, unique adventures. We went for long walks around Kothamangalam/Nadukani, where you are immersed in a lush, tropical countryside. It's a good way to ease yourself into visiting India if you haven't been before, where cities can be a bit overwhelming. Judit also provides tours on request and we enjoyed learning about local history and agriculture. Food was absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh, homemade, and you are treated to a variety of local cuisines. The home itself is clean, comfortable, and spacious. We had the drawing room all to ourselves for a large chunk of the time spent there. Overall, highly recommended.
A great place to feel like at home while still on holiday! The hospitality was great and the natural surroundings of the property could give you a good sense of living the nature.
A warm experience from the start, Judith and her family went out of their way to make us feel at home. They provided us with a unique experience, close to nature yet comfortable. The food was delicious, cooked with organically home grown ingredients and made thoughtfully with our preferences in mind. Highlight of the trip - being canoed to their river side property for a swim, and a sunset dinner with freshly caught fish. Highly recommended!
The place is so serene, calm and amazingly beautiful. If you are a nature enthusiast you are going to love this place. Judith is a wonderful host and a beautiful family that takes you in with complete warmth and affection. The food made was thoughtfully cooked from home and reminded us that what families can be even while on travel and the warmth shown was exceedingly contagious that we didn't want to leave. Amazing property and incredible hospitality would highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again.
Staying with this lovely family was very special. The location was breathtaking. We did some of the activities and found them to be very worthwhile. Being here was exactly what we were looking for: being immersed in beautiful nature, unspoiled by mass toruism, sourrounded by people that cared about their land.
