Comfortable, clean, spacious house in Kilkee. Great base for exploring the area. Friendly host with excellent communication. Would stay again.

We stayed here for a week. It was just cleaned before we arrived and it was spotless. However, a smelly mop was used to wash the floor and it really stunk. The bedrooms without the en-suite also smelt musty. There was also a cupboard in the kitchen that smelt extremely musty too. Also it seemed like there was a leak in the bathroom as their was water stains on the ceiling beneath it that weren’t attended to. The beds were very firm and my elderly grandmother found them very uncomfortable we had to purchase padding to help her sleep more comfortably. Other than these points it was a lovely house, as I said it was very clean. The equipment for my toddler (play pen and high chair) were in great condition and spotless I was very impressed. The utensils were good however I do recommend people bringing their own mugs if they want a good cup for teas/coffees. One other thing to note is no dryer we found this hard as we had bad weather. The lady who helped us was extremely nice and very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Overall though it was a good stay.

Fine clean accommodation. Quite basic, not very homely. Fine for a few nights. Expensive for what it is.
