Logement atypique. La route à proximité est assez bruyante. Nous nous attendions à une ville plus attractive et plus dynamique. Mais nous avons passé un bon séjour.

We chose Carhaix-Plauguer because it's about equidistant from many of Brittany's attractions on the coast, and we were making a motorcycle trip of it. This little cottage in the middle of town is even cuter than the photos make it out to be. It's walkable to many good restaurants and an outstanding coffee shop. The creperie directly behind the the house is tasty and the owner is super friendly. The laundry facilities worked great including the dryer, an uncommon feature in Europe. But what really stood out for us was Sue, the host. She went far beyond expectations when my motorcycle broke down and I needed to arrange with the towing company, and then find a rental van to haul it back to our home base in Germany. She made arrangements for me and consulted about the best way to get the bike back. She was always responsive to texts.
