テラスから観る景色が最高でした！ しかも、テラスは北と南にあり、時間帯によって、強いイタリアの陽射しを避けてリラックスすることが出来ます。 私は1日しか滞在しなかったので、料理はしませんでしたが、キッチンが充実しており、調理をするのも大変良いと思います。 今回は1人で泊まりましたが、次回はパートナーと2人で泊まりたいです！ アパートメントから出たくなくなる、ステキなところです！

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful location. You will need a car/ motorbike/ scooter to make the most of it but there are so many great things you can get to nearby. We really enjoyed our time here.

The apartment itself is true to the pictures, clean, tidy and well presented. However, anyone looking to stay here must have their own transport as the village is very isolated. In advance in booking with Michelle we messaged and informed her we are not driving and asked if there good transport links. She responded by saying there was a bus stop 300 meters away with buses that would take us to locations along the Amalfi coast. She failed to mention that the buses are intermittent & the last one back to the village is around 8pm. Michelle does not provide WIFI, the local coffee shop does provide this, it is a 5 minute walk. Neither of our mobiles picked up any internet. We asked for basic directions to the accommodation which we were told to google map, I found this quite unhelpful. Google maps actually takes you further down the road and it is an additional 5 minute walk. Even though we had ideas of the day trips we were looking to do, Michelle provided no information in the apartment. We had no bus timetables nor told where the bus stop was, there was no information about the village or where the one restaurant (san Francisco) was located, luckily the locals are very helpful . The lack of public transport made us feel very restricted, this made it difficult to enjoy our holiday & actually relax as we felt that we were always on a time schedule. We ended up spending the last 3 night of our stay in Maiori as it was just not feasible for us to do the things we wanted whilst staying in the village. We were extremely upset & disappointed that we had to leave our booked accommodation. We informed Michelle that we were leaving & of our reasons. Michelle & her mother came to meet us to collect the key. Michelle accepted our reasons & apologized for the inconvenience. Her mother was motioning that we should have a car!! After leaving the accommodation we messaged Michelle & asked her for a partial refund for the nights that we did not spend at the apartment & for the further expenses incurred for the additional accommodation.We have had no response.

Polvica is an amazing place, if you need a quiet area around. You can reach the Maiori beach in 15 minutes by bus. People are really kind and helpful here. The Melina's House is really beautiful and safe. I was satisfied with everything.
