Séjour en famille fantastique. Rui est un hôte particulièrement gentil et serviable! Nous avons absolument adoré l’endroit qui nous a permis une belle immersion dans la vie Portugaise . Outre la vue magnifique qu’offre cet appartement légèrement sur les hauteurs, les restaurants traditionnels et familiaux sont a un pas. Avec encore un gros coup de coeur pour le petit marché de producteurs sur une petite place a 100m et la boulangerie pâtisserie excellente aussi. Nous avons bénéficié d’un temps excellent et avons donc pu profiter des très belles plages avec un peu de marche pour aller voire les beautés cachées de la côte. Proche de Lisbonne aussi pour une journée de visite agréable.

Very beautiful setting, the balcony is spectacular to sit on in the morning and evening. market and restaurants are great nearby. The beach is gorgeous, we knew the area and it's stairs/hills so it was expected. definitely did not use our stroller as much. What could make is 5/5 vs 4/5? Household supplies and better pillows. We cook every meal. I mean every meal. It would be nice to have Tupperware or reusable containers for leftovers. Even plastic wrap, aluminum foil for cooking we're not supplies. I wish there were plastic dishware for kids (as it states family friendly). we stayed for 2.5 weeks and had 1 garbage bag allotted. We also we're not given cleaning supplies. so after 5 days, I had to buy supplies to clean the apartment. I love sesimbra and will back I hope some of these amenities will be updated and we can come here again.

Perfectly located with wonderful ocean views. It could be challenging to find but Rui’s instructions on the listing are spot on. Just follow them to the letter and you’ll be fine. We had an issue with the cooker on our first evening but Rui was so responsive and sorted it out within 20 mins. He also gave us great restaurant advice. Snack-Bar Formiga opposite is a MUST visit! The space is great. Bedroom a good size with direct access to the balcony. I did yoga in the living area or on the balcony every morning overlooking the ocean. The bathroom has no ventilation so gets very steamy and the bath is odd - the taps are one end and the plug the other end so no way to have a relaxing bath so don’t book specially for the tub! Recommendation if visiting in the winter would be to take blankets and an extra heater. We always travel with these and needed them. There was a heater in the bedroom but wouldn’t have been enough if we didn’t have our own. Perfect in the summer I’m sure!

5☆ Super atenciosos, simpáticos e disponíveis para esclarecer qualquer dúvida. A casa está bem localizada, mesmo pertinho da praia. Casa limpa, com todos os acessórios de cozinha necessários. A repetir, sem dúvida.

We really enjoyed our time at Rui’s and Margarida’s place! Our month long stay was great, the place is very spacious, we had all the amenities needed, a lot of items for cooking and baking in the kitchen, the WiFi worked great, the bed was really comfy with extra bed sheets available, there was a radiator to keep us warm and the sunsets with the view to the ocean were truly priceless! The balcony is a perfect place to have breakfast and lunch even during the winter season because the sun is at it during the day. The supermarkets and a bus station (and the ocean) are a short walk away. The only downside for us was that the doors and windows are not as sound proof so if you are a sensitive sleeper you may find the snack bar below the apartment a bit annoying since it works longer hours than actually stated, it gets very loud because of the chains that they use to attach the tables on the outside. The occasional visitors may also behave very loudly. Other than that, we had a perfect stay.
