房东很热情,为我们点然篝火、引来马匹和我们互动。周围景色也很好, 就是标价不清,我查的是五人房,标价381元,入住了还要付311元,真是有点上当受骗的感觉, 也许是我对租房条款不是太了解而产生的误会，

A peaceful spot, looking west down the Fish River Valley. Beautiful. At end of the road. The sunrise and sunset light up the house. Comfortable and cosy.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Helen's beautifully appointed 100 year old cottage. We loved imagining what was the history of this place as we enjoyed our wine and cheeses on the verandah whilst the sun set. We were truly blest with great Autumn weather - no wind - but a beautiful blanket of mist and fog early in the morning greeted us and let us know we were in a magical place. The Autumn foliage in the area didn't disappoint. The main bedroom bedding was comfy and luxurious and we loved Helen's decorating style....the paintings and the various ornaments a nod to Australia and farm life. Helen hospitably left us all that we needed to enjoy our stay along with yummy chocolates! We both feel truly refreshed after our stay where we attended a weekend of open gardens in Oberon. We have definitely recommended it to our friends and family and hope to come again to enjoy the Mayfield Gardens located nearby in the Spring!! Thank you Helen!

Helen’s cottage was the perfect get away for the weekend. It had a great cottage/farmhouse feel and felt very private. The beds were very comfy and the covered outdoor space was great for having a bbq and watching the river with a few beers.
