This house was exactly what we were looking for in a beach house. We had immediate access to the beach via stairs. We wanted our 8 and 10 year hold children to be able to go to the beach while we could stay in the home and prepare food, etc. This was exactly what we were looking for. I was able to head in to prepare dinner while watching my kids from the window! There was everything we needed and more in the kitchen. There is a grocery store that was a 5 minute walk away in case we forgot something. We had beautiful views of Haystack and there was a transparent wind blocker on the deck which was amazing. There were a lot of stairs in the house which was fine for us. They had toys the kids enjoyed playing with, puzzles, games, boogie boards, etc. It was exactly what we were hoping for in our vacation to Cannon Beach.

The location was beautiful! However there was a problem with the keypad on the door, the codes only lasted one day. We were locked out two days in a row and had to finally get a key. The smoke detector in one of the bedrooms batteries got low, so it was beeping at us for awhile. So we had to have people come out 3 times, once for the battery and twice for the key pad. Not really what you want to deal with on vacation. The office was very responsive though. We never did get the heat to work, but built fires and managed with out it. Also the bench in the dining room had sand all over it, must have gotten missed in the cleaning.

Location is perfect (walkable on the beach to town but south of town so it’s less busy!) and the views of the ocean and Haystack were incredible!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our family. It was well worth it and the sauna made it extra relaxing. The home was very well organized and it had everything we needed to make our family meals. The communication was prompt and always helpful. We’re definitely coming back and staying at one of Beachcombers homes.
