This is my second stay here. The first was for a girls weekend and I KNEW I had to bring my kids ages 18, 14, 9 back for some quiet family time. Cozy cottages and my kids LOVED the horseback riding and interacting with animals. I loved the quiet and easy setting for walks and playing games. It was really cold but didn’t stop us at from enjoying our time there. Downtown Brenham has cute shops and eateries we enjoyed too. Darrell gets all the stars for going above and beyond in his hosting. Exceptional! Will most definitely be back.

What a fabulous experience. The ranch and accommodation exceeded my expectations. The hosts were helpful and friendly and always on hand to answer my questions. I got an in depth introduction from Darrel to each horse and was taken out for a lovely horseback ride around the perimeter of the ranch. I’d highly recommend staying here, but I’d definitely hire a car next time so I could explore the surrounding towns too. Thanks so much again for having me to stay. Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Beautiful working ranch! Friendly people and the animals are amazing (horses, pet hogs, baby goats, dogs)! The sunrises are to die for… Darrell was the perfect host and made checkin easy and showed us around the property. We had a peaceful stay on very comfortable beds. Wished we could have stayed longer. (Note: The wedding venue on site is stunning, for anyone looking..)
