What a little gem!! Amazing little woodland that is perfect for those who what a bit of peace and quiet or to just recharge yourself away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Chris’s woodland is well managed with many varieties of trees and foliage, has a lovely fire pit to sit around or cook on. For wild campers this is a great place to stay and Chris is a an amazing host with lots of knowledge of the local area but also gives you the privacy that you want and is so welcoming. We had a fantastic stay in Chris's woods! Albeit dark when we arrived, we enjoyed the adventure of the walk, and exploring the woodlands before we departed the next day. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to have a 'wild camping' experience without the possibility of being 'kicked out'. Our group can't wait to come back and stay again! Thanks Chris

My partner and I had a very special stay in these woods! We really enjoyed being in nature with no one else around while making use of the basic amenities Chris has set up like a fire pit, stone table, and compost toilet. Chris also provided great tips for us in terms of exploring the surrounding area. Would highly recommend this campsite for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.

Chris has not only created, but also allowed nature to do it's thing, resulting in a perfect paradise, to escape from the world. Yes, the path is steep to get to the gate. But this limits human traffic, and the location is perfect for a trip into the gorge. My dream has always been to own my own woodland so I'm highly envious of what Chris has, and very much grateful for him renting it out. Thanks again Chris.
