Clean, roomy, quiet and extremely well equipped. Positives : Fully equipped (can't stress enough, the kitchen is excellent for self-catering). Near to bus stop (catch the 23 to be in Edinburgh town centre in less than half an hour for only £2). Only a short walk to restaurants, pubs, parks and shops, in one of Edinburgh's most exclusive areas. Fifteen minutes from Blackwell Hill, with a stunning view of Edinburgh. Clean. It's a little bit 'lived-in', but the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms had obviously been cleaned to a high standard. Quiet. We barely heard the neighbours, if at all. Extras. Wi-fi, TV (with some fun DVDs if you fancy it), books, board games, music, ambient lighting, adaptor plugs, everything to wash, dry and iron your clothes, sauces and condiments. Negatives: It is well lived in, so there are a few old stains on the carpets and the walls, but these do not distract in any way from the overall cleanliness of the property.

I stayed for two weeks with my mum and my two kids. We found the house to be just what we wanted and excellently equipped, especially the kitchen. We were unfortunate and that we had very bad weather, but Lars’ home was great to spend time in and very warm & welcoming, especially after a wet day out. We also hired a car, and there was never any problem finding parking nearby.

Nos encantó el apartamento y nos sorprendió lo bien equipado que estaba. ¡¡Tiene absolutamente todo lo que puedas necesitar!! Que no os asuste el hecho de que esté alejado del centro de la ciudad, tiene buenísimas conexiones con el transporte urbano hacia el casco histórico en apenas 25 minutos y es fácil de llegar. Merece la pena por su precio y su localización en un barrio excelente, seguro y tranquilo. Está al lado de Morningside Road, una calle donde ofrece todo tipo de servicios (restaurantes, supermercados, pubs...) Las fotos del alojamiento pierden realmente en la web, se ve mucho mejor y tiene otro aspecto más favorable en persona. Lo único que les recomendaría es que actualizasen las fotos. En definitiva, 10/10 Sin duda este alojamiento será nuestro preferido si volvemos a Edimburgo. Gracias por todo Lars y Sigrid.

O apartamento é ótimo, impecável e perfeito em todos os detalhes. Cozinha completa, lavadora e secadora de roupas camas e sofá-cama muito confortáveis. A comunicação com Lars foi muito eficiente. Sobre a localização, é um bairro muito bom e tranquilo, mas eu escolheria ficar mais próximo ao centro se fosse novamente à Edimburgo.
