Great stay at Casa Pelican. Clean , quiet room w/ comfortable bed. Easy walk to the ferry to the French Quarter. We enjoyed chatting with Karen over delicious breakfasts. Highly recommend staying here.

A MUST STAY PLACE!! Karen’s place is fantastic! The space is wonderful and peaceful, just like the photos. She was super nice and accommodating. Her fresh cooked breakfast every morning was terrific and the city/french quarter is an easy ferry ride away. We will always be staying here when we come back! Be sure to take her cooking class! A++

Karen is delightful! She texted me the day of my arrival so that she could greet us when we arrived at her home. Her home is on Algiers Point- a short ferry ride from Nola. Her neighborhood is very peaceful and everyone we saw was friendly. Karen's breakfasts were beautiful and delicious. My daughter and I stayed 2 nights and took one of her cooking classes. It was awesome! She definitely knows her stuff! She is a talented chef and instructor with a fabulous personality and a nice and friendly husband- Kelly. We had a really good time and highly recommend staying at Karen's and definitely take a cooking class.

This was my 2nd time staying at the Casa Pelican B&B. Karen and Kelly are so helpful… offering to carry up our luggage when we arrived, thankfully. They are so knowledgeable about the area history. I love walking to and riding the ferry. I take a different route each time as the homes in the area are so interesting. The ferry takes you right to the heart of the French Quarter. The breakfasts are my favorite. I love Karen’s presentation. I even requested her wonderful biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are so light and fluffy and the gravy is well seasoned . It just feels like you are being spoiled all the way around. We took a Louisiana seafood cooking class, as this b&b is also the home of an intimate cooking school. Karen is a culinary expert, very knowledgeable about cooking techniques. Later we sat to enjoy the dinner that we had made. It was incredible and so tasty. I can’t wait to come back and take another cooking class. Thank you for sharing your home and your hospitality

Das Frühstück und der Kaffee waren phantastisch, die Kommunikation mit Karen ebenfalls. Wir hatten das Schlafsofa als 2. Bett gebucht, leider war es dafür aber nicht geeignet, so dass wir früher abreisen mussten.
