Stayed here for a mother-daughter get away. The property is lovely, and the place is cozy and comfortable. I loved being away from all of the busy tourist areas after a day at the beach.

We loved Annie’s place. It was very homey and comfortable. Theres an older home smell to it but we didn’t spend an awful lot of time there or we just got used to the smell. Annie was very helpful and responsive when we had questions about local places. The homemade banana nut muffins were delicious! And we loved the sound of the roosters. Their coop is away from the cottage so you don’t really get woken up by the sound, just enough to get the farm feeling. Annie also gifted us a beautiful picture of the chicken which is on our fridge now. We didn’t interact much in person with her but the little we did, Annie was such a sweet and caring hostess.

Annie & Bud were the most kind, generous hosts that we have interacted with. They were both outside to greet us and Annie provided wonderful recommendations for dining and activities. The parking space was plenty big enough for my husband's F250 and they even have a canoe and kayak that you are welcome to take around the bayou and bay. It's very private and if you love nature and nature sounds, this is the place for you! The property is absolutely beautiful with river views and tons of sculpture art. Our bedrooms were comfortable and we were able to make breakfast casserole in the mornings because we ate out for the other meals. There were only two things that we found to be resolved going forward but it's not anything big. You can only open the dishwasher a little bit as there's a cabinet that doesn't allow for a full extension and the dryer doesn't actually dry clothes, so we had to hang ours. It gets hot but it doesn't turn. However, we would stay here again!

The space in the house was very good for our family, but the house smells a lot of humidity and has leak at the master, the sink in the bathroom was dirty and had a couple of spider webs. the kitchen only had two cookers

This was our second time staying with Mrs. Annie and Buddy. The carriage house is perfect for a larger group, spacious and accommodating with full kitchen and bathroom. We were able to fish the bay right on the property, or drive 15-20 minutes down the road to go to the beach - best of both worlds! Annie is quick to respond and help when needed, and fun to visit with while just hanging out. Can't wait to visit again!
