Our experience definitely matched that of others who have reviewed before us. The apartment is very central, with all of the main attractions within walking distance. Despite this, it is very quiet and peaceful, with a lovely feeling of space and light from being open plan. The outlook both sides over the inner courtyards and little private balconies and rooftop gardens gave interest and we loved the blend of old furniture with upcycled and retro. The apartment is well equipped. The collection of books focussing on different religions and the artwork make for a quirky feel. There are restaurants and local shops close by, both of which proved very useful after long and tiring days of sightseeing. Our hosts gave us good and timely information and responded to any query very quickly. Would definitely stay here again if/when we return to Rome.

Have you ever dreamed of living in a stylish apartment in the center of Rome? This is your chance! We stayed in many Airbnbs during a recent trip to Italy, but this was our favorite. It’s beautifully furnished, quiet, and comfortable. The location is outstanding. It’s an easy walk to the Colosseum, the Forum, the Pantheon, the Trevi fountain, and much more. This place will be our first choice if/when we get back to Rome.

Un appartement très central, on peut tout faire à pied. Très calme, la chambre donne sur jardin, avec une bonne literie. Le charme de l’ancien, avec de grandes bibliothèques. Une douche récente et très propre. Les branchements électriques sont anciens mais des prises sont prévues pour adapter le matériel. Une grande flexibilité dans l’accueil, et tout est fait pour que cela soit simple et sans stress. Nous avons même eux notre taxi réservé à l’aller et aux retour. J’ai apprécié le fait que gel douche et produits de tous les jours sont en grande quantité, pas besoin de faire de course. Nous avons eu vraiment le sentiment paisible de venir chez quelqu’un et d’être bien reçus. Merci Emma pour l’accueil et la flexibilité tout au long de notre séjour :) douche et

Carlo's apartment was exactly what we expected from the listing and exactly what we wanted. With in about a 25 minute walk you can be at all the hot spots in Rome. The elevator/lift was a God send, there are 3 short stairs to navigate. Once inside you are surrounded by beautiful furniture. My only issue with the furniture was that the sofa is not that comfortable to sit on, it's also a Day Bed. The main bed was comfortable enough after a long day of walking. Having access to a washer during our stay was amazing as it allowed us to pack less. There is no dryer, but there is a clothes line inside and the washer does a an excellent job of getting most of the water of the clothing. With all that considered, I will be booking Carlo's apartment the next time I am in Rome.
