Brian and Jane were fantastic hosts. They warmly welcomed us into their home and were fantastic during our stay if we had any questions or issues. Their home is both beautiful and historic and it was a pleasure to be able to stay on such a place - we had our wedding week in Greenwich and had multiple families staying in this house together and it was perfect. Thank you brain and Jane for your hospitality!

This is someone's home and you are made to feel welcome in it. We could not have been happier with it. Beautiful inside and out. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Steps to the bus stop and the incredible London transportation system. for a family gathering it was perfect.

Wow, where to begin with Brian and Jane’s incredible house? From the moment you receive the beautifully written and detailed manual, you get the feeling that it is more of an “experience” than just a stay in the house. Brian could not be more friendly, accommodating and flexible. Although I didn’t meet him in person, through his messages and his friend Keith who welcomed us to the house, he wins my vote for best Airbnb host ever. The house is quirky, spacious, beautiful, full of character and the garden is magical. The pictures just do not do the garden justice. Set on 3 levels with a lawn, a terrace, a fish pond and romantic little passages as well as views overlooking Canary Wharf, it leaves you in wonder that such a garden still exists in zone 3. The house is itself historic, and also full of stunning pieces that I imagine Brian and Jane must have collected throughout their interesting lives together. All bedrooms are en suite and all have their own personality, there are grand impressive rooms as well as little cosy spots to sneak off for some quiet time. For me and my family, the house well exceeded our expectations, we absolutely loved it and thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here. But here’s a disclaimer: if you want a sleek, modern, bland house, this is not for you. If you want a house full of character and charm, that is in places perhaps a little tired, then book it and stay as long as you can! Thanks Brian and we hope to return one day!!

Hamilton House was extremely spacious and accommodated our family of 12 very well. I would caution families travelling will elderly parents to realize there are no bedrooms on the main floor and the kitchen is on a lower level with stairs that are challenging to navigate for elderly individuals. Out of our 12 family members, 6 of them would have preferred a more comfortable mattress and pillows. Other than that we enjoyed our stay immensely. Also, Brian and his assistant were extremely quick to respond to any needs or concerns that we had. We would recommend Hamilton House.
