The décor is country farmhouse with eclectic furnishings. The kitchen is totally modern. There are two porches, one screened and the other with windows. Additionally, a new replacement deck has been completed. There are TVs in BR, LR, and Kitchen. The house sits on a 10 acre pecan farm. Walking and biking available. The guest room has an adjoining bathroom which both are off the back of the living room with screened in porch easily accessable. Guests have control of their own heat/air thermostat.

Absolutely enjoyed my time at Joan’s place. Had lots of good conversations friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be going back. Hopefully the pecans will be in season. Highly recommended to stay with her.

This was our 2nd stay with Joan. We love her place, and she goes above and beyond with snacks and even some breakfast choices. It is very convenient for us in our travels. We hope to visit again next year.

I retired from elementary education in 2008 to the family pecan farm in McRae, Arkansas after living in Houston, TX for 40 yrs. I started an Airbnb with a private room and enjoy travelers and visitors to the local area. I feel like I've become somewhat of an entrepreneur selling/ cracking pecans, hosting Airbnb, renting RV lots for the upcoming solar eclipse. Love to travel abroad and in the U.S. My home had its Centurian celebration in 2022.
