Wake up to the birds singing, and go to sleep with the owls calling. Each nook and cranny reveals another handcrafted detail. It sits within beautiful gardens, with an abundance of wildlife for all to enjoy. Enjoy meandering through our ancient woodland. Head for the hills…and the dancing daffodils. In the expansive grounds of a 16th-century timber-framed house, is the perfect retreat à deux. Way up a simple track, you already feel yourself unwinding as you approach your traditional timber framed hideaway awaiting you. The Self Catering Cottage in Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire sits in unspoilt rolling countryside and was built using locally sourced stone, oak and handcrafted leaded light windows. The cottage has fine details, charm and character. Settle on the weighty leather sofa next to the wood-burner stacked high with logs from the nearby woods. The kitchen is well equipped, open plan and nestled around the Aga. It would be a treat of an evening to follow the babbling brook through the ancient orchid-dotted woodland.

This is a beautiful cottage. We felt very relaxed and welcome from the moment we arrived. The cottage is unique and has everything needed. We will definitely return. Highly recommend.
We had a lovely stay. Absolutely beautiful and the hosts were friendly and very helpful helping us with my mother who has dementia. We are very grateful. My Australian family loved it as cottages are so cute in such a idillic setting. We were a big group and had everything that we had needed to make it a stress free break. Highly recommended
Ellie was a fantastic host from the start, proactive in answering questions and very friendly. The cottage is very cosy and rural, as described. It was clean the beds were really comfortable. Great kitchen with lots of tools and appliances. Would love to return in the summer when the weather is better.
Ellie deserves her status as a super host. Excellent communication as I had quite a few questions as we were staying for Christmas. She allowed us an early check in. The cottage was very homely & cosy & Ellie had provided a well dressed Christmas tree and some home made mince pies. I was impressed that there was an unlimited supply of logs for the wood burner. I’ve been to a few properties where the first basket is provided then there is a charge for any additional logs used. I would definitely stay again.
