The location is beautiful and spacious. It more than met our needs for a home away from home. The kitchen/eating area is upstairs, with the living quarters downstairs. The fishing and grounds are great for our kiddos.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Kim’s lodge for the solar eclipse! The views of the lake are beautiful, and we got to see bald eagles soaring above the lake. The wraparound porch, yard, and dock gave everyone room to spread out and enjoy the outdoors, and we enjoyed visiting and feeding the goats and donkeys.:) While feeling nice and secluded, it’s only 15 minutes to restaurants and stores in town. Kim was also very helpful and quick to answer questions. For those wondering about the layout of the house, the 5 bedrooms, living room, and 2 full bathrooms are on the ground floor. Upstairs, you’ll find the kitchen (with 2 fridges), 2 half baths, and a large banquet hall-type room (not pictured in the Airbnb photos). That room includes dining tables and chairs for 10 and one of the TVs. The other TV is in the living room. Worth noting is that the TVs must be on the same channel. It was fine for us watching March Madness but might not be ideal for others. We’d definitely recommend!

These was a much needed breath of fresh air. It was so peaceful and we felt right at home!! I highly recommend this place if you need a peaceful getaway or need a place for a large family!

The Lodge at Six Mile Lake was outstanding. Much more than I ever expected. Beautiful surroundings, private, and the accommodations were spot on! We are looking forward to returning as soon as possible. Kim was a perfect host.
