We will long remember our visit to Tatiana Popa. With the assistance of Google Translate she informed us about her house, which she turned into a kind of a museum full of interesting pictures/clothes/attributes that tell a history of her family, and the village of Palanca. Very worthwhile to visit! The room where we stayed had a bed + a bed/couch, and a private bath room. The room easily suits a family of 2 parents and 2 children. It’s a newly build room. The garden has a playground as well. Breakfast/lunch/dinner is - on request - available. Local food is prepared by neighbours of Tatiana, in an open kitchen. Food is served at tables with a view over the village. It was delicious, probably the best meals we had in our 3 weeks in Moldova! We are also grateful to Snejana for translating when we visited acquintances of Tatiana, in the village of Palanca. Snejana: thanks! We recommend Tatiana’s guesthouse for people that want to have an impression of smaller villages in the countryside of Moldova, which might be easier by a rented car. It’s little over 2 hours from Chisinau, if you take time to travel. We are happy to have visited Palanca, after spending a few days in Orhei (Vecchi). It was a perfect combination. Tatiana, thanks for having us as your guests. It was a privilege.

Actually, we only wanted to rent an apartment in Palanca for four days. The place and the surroundings are really nice! the village too! Life takes place in the evening in the magazine. Wojtek, where we rented the accommodation, is not on site. He is in Poland. the boss is an old woman named Tatiana. She offers us breakfast, lunch and dinner. that's really nice. but she offers it until you have to accept it. a simple "no" is not enough! Every day we struggled to say what we did not want! She was incredibly penetrating! For reasons of peace, we took dinner for three days. A woman from the village cooked it very well. My girlfriend and I have roots in Eastern Europe. We are not rich and know how much a euro is worth. Tatiana's prices are far too high. we hope that part of the money for the food comes to the cook. We left Palanca with the feeling that every stranger who rents a room in Tatiana is automatically a rich person and should pay all the money he has. I would recommend this accommodation to Tatiana anyone who wants to feel like in a dictatorship! Actually we only wanted to rent an accommodation! ps .: On a scale of 1-5 we give this accommodation a three. the room is wet. That's why the ground bends. it is very bad to let in new air. Maybe a fan would be able to help. there is wifi, but tatiana was not able to give us the code!

Everything turned out to be much better than we expected. The place is suitable both for long-distance travelers and for recreation with the family. Upon arrival, you will meet an amazing grandmother Tatiana)) such people can rarely be found)) the room is located at the old manor museum that gives rest certain color. The kitchen and you can agree on accommodation with feeding, although we originally went to just accommodation we were met with a covered table , freshly cooked food from the local people, we were delighted with it. Of course all the products are rustic and everything is very tasty. the museum at the estate, too, will not leave anyone indifferent)) and the room itself is clean and bright everything corresponds to the description in the announcement. Все оказалось намного лучше чем мы ожидали. Место подходит как для дальних путешественников так и для отдыха с семьей. По прибытии вас встретит удивительная бабушка Татьяна))таких людей можно редко встретить)) комната находится при старинной усадьбе музее что придает отдыху определенный колорит.есть кухня и можно договорится о проживании с кормлением,хотя мы изначально ехали на просто проживание нас встретили с накрытым столом ,только что приготовленная еда от местных жителей-нас безумно обрадовала.конечно все продукты деревенские и все очень вкусно. музей при усадьбе тоже не оставит равнодушным никого)) а сама комната чистая и светлая все соответствует описанию в обьявлении.
