Quiet and peaceful location and a great value for money! We stayed for 3 weeks and really enjoyed the view from the balcony. It was always super quiet, only nature sounds to be heard. You can sit for hours on the balcony and just watch birds, squirrels and monkeys pass by. Still, you’re very close to the center of Ubud, which makes it very convenient. Gung‘s hospitality was also outstanding. He provided a simple breakfast (tea/coffee and a fruit platter) every morning and was always smiling when we saw him. We can highly recommend staying here if you’re on a lower budget and are looking for a quiet no-frills place. The only two small downsides for us where that the room is very dark, unless you open all the windows - but then it gets hot of course. The ceiling light is not very bright. Also, there were some spider webs and dust in the room.

I LOVED my stay here and you will too! Such a lovely family compound, walkable to rice fields and right out the alley is an art market which is incredible as well. You won’t want to leave! Thankyou Agung and Anik! 🙏🏻

Gung is a super host for a reason: very attentative, friendly and at the same time respects your privacy. The accomodation is as depicted on the photo’s and acts like an oasis in the always buzzing Ubud.

Excellent accommodation, the house exceeded all our expectations. Private balcony, cozy furniture, it was very pleasant to sit on the balcony. Agung is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back here again
