Where to start... This is without a doubt, the best Airbnb experience that anybody can hope for. From the apartment itself, to the incredibly kind and helpful hosts, do yourself a favor and stay at Pavel and Elena's apartment - you simply cannot ask for anything more. Everything about the apartment is absolutely pristine, with every amenity that you can ask for. The location is unparalleled, right in the very center of Saint Petersburg - a 3 minute walk from the Hermitage, right around the corner from the Neva river embankment, and surrounded by great cafes and restaurants - there is even a shop located directly below the apartment. The bedroom is cozy, the bed is plush, the pull-out couch is comfortable for a 3rd and 4th guest, the kitchen is stocked with food and drinks, the appliances are high quality and easy to use, there are linens and towels to an excess, laundry is within the unit, two large flat-screen TV's, an elevator to bring up your luggage, the list goes on... The hosts and the apartment itself are nothing short of exceptional. Speaking of the hosts, Pavel and Elena are an absolute pleasure to interact with, and they went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. Due to the COVID pandemic, we had to delay our trip to Saint Petersburg for over a year, but Pavel and Elena worked with us without any hesitation to make our trip special. Weeks before our arrival, Pavel reached out to us to make sure that he was doing everything he could to make us feel welcome. From tips on transportation from the airport, to guidance on where to exchange currency, Pavel's help before our arrival took away any feeling of stress. Once we arrived in Saint Petersburg, Pavel greeted us at the apartment, explained to us everything we would need to know in order to make full use of the apartment during our stay, and even gave us a tour of the surrounding area - giving us recommendations on where to eat, where to shop, what boat tours to use, and how to make the most of our time in Saint Petersburg. And all of this in fluent English! To say that communication throughout our stay was a breeze is an understatement. Even after our stay in Saint Petersburg, once we had moved on to Moscow, Pavel continued to help in any ways that he could. Pavel and Elena are truly wonderful hosts, and even better people who helped make our time in Russia unforgettable - I cannot thank them enough for their incredible kindness and hospitality. All in all, the absolute best Airbnb experience ever! Thank you Pavel and Elena for an unforgettable time in your magical city...hope to see you again soon!
