If you are looking for a quiet time surrounded by nature in Peten, this is the perfect place for you. El Sotz is 30 mins from Flores, located in a tranquil area of El Remate. Can be reached via a Colectivo or the hotel can arrange pick up and drop. The property is wonderful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is hot shower whenever you need and a pool to relax. The property is lush with trees and birds chirping all day long. The sunset view over the lake from the restaurant area is gorgeous. The best thing about the stay however are the amazing hosts, Louis and Maria. They are warm, attentive to your needs and so helpful and thoughtful. Maria is an amazing cook. I had the best muffins ever! They will make sure you won’t forget your stay. They make you feel like family. I am so glad to have met them. Thank you for the most amazing time, Louis and Maria. Hope to see you again. Lots of love.

Excellent place to stay!! You feel like you’re staying at the jungle, the environment makes you fell the earths naturalness, located in front of “el remate” so you can go to the city or all the famous places at Peten. Completely recommended. Excelente lugar para quedarse! Sientes que te estás quedando en la jungla, el entorno te hace sentir la naturalidad de la tierra, ubicada frente al "remate" para que puedas ir a la ciudad o a todos los lugares famosos de Petén. Completamente recomendado.
