Had the most relaxing 3 days at the Bigfin resort. As the listing described there isn't a lot of internet in the resort so we relaxed and read in the hammock most of the time. The staff there are very friendly and even guided us for our hike! The food is home cooked style and it's delicious. We went snorkelling but couldn't see much, it is best to come between March and May.

There is a very relaxed vibe, everybody is incredibly friendly and the views are stunning. The food tasted good, although I think that if you're staying for a long time, it might get a bit repetitive. That said, keep in mind when booking that the amenities are basic. There is no airconditioning, the shower only has 1 temperature, there is limited power available, and almost no internet service. Also no proper bedlinnen and the mattress was not comfortable. If you're over 1.75m, the bed will be too short for you. Especially the uncomfortable bed and high temperatures (at night and day) made it difficult for us to sleep well. So all in all it's a beautiful place with spectacular surroundings if you want to go diving, snorkeling or some other water activity's, but be prepared for a basic lifestyle.

Rundum hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit! Es entsprach alles der Beschreibung und die Kommunikation mit Ella im Voraus lief super und einfach. Vor Ort kann man wunderbar entspannen. Für leckeres Essen und eine entspannte Atmosphäre ist ebenso gesorgt. Wir kamen beim Entspannen am ruhigen Privatstrand voll auf unsere Kosten. Wer etwas Action möchte ist hier aber auch gut versorgt. Ein sehr nettes Team von Tauchlehrern und weiterem Staff lässt keine Wünsche offen! Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

We hebben genoten. Appartement was heel fijn, schoon en comfortabel. Omgeving was prachtig. Geserveerde eten heerlijk door amazing kok Awai. En bij de refreshcursus PADI geweldig begeleid door Mamam. Wat een fijne duikinstructeur. Van het wandelen op het strand, het zee kayakken, het duiken tot het luieren in de hangmat. We hebben overal van genoten.

This place is incredible. Rustic and remote yet also super clean and comfortable. The staff are so great. I felt at home and totally safe. Being right on the ocean and also with the jungle behind you, this is a beautiful place to rest, recharge and of course do some diving or water sports. You will get your exercise with all the stairs but that was a plus for me as I wanted to get moving. Food is excellent. Thank you for hosting me. I would gladly come back again and again.
