We waren overweldigd door de geweldige locatie en het warme onthaal. Niets dan liefde voor deze plek. Eerlijke producten, gepassioneerde mensen en hoge kwaliteit. Dat alles in een informele en ontspannen sfeer. Kamer was prachtig en voorzien van alle details. Onze kinderen van 8 en 5 hebben zich heerlijk vermaakt op het terrein, met de locale kindjes en met de boerderijdieren.

Wow! We were blown away by the family atmosphere, food, and hospitality. We selected Ca Mariuccia because we were traveling from Switzerland with our dog and wanted a farm stay to experience the Italian Piedmont countryside and local cuisine. What we found was a an eco-friendly farm with only about 4 guest rooms set in the middle of vineyards and fruit and nut trees that reminded us of Napa, California. The guest room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and just the right temperature for our spring / Easter visit. The rooms are on the second floor of the farm house overlooking the courtyard below. They are private and quiet questrooms similar to what one might find at a country Bed and Breakfast or boutique hotel. We stayed during the busy Easter holiday and never once were we disturbed by the guests at the restaurants or in the other guest rooms. There are two restaurants on site - both were buzzing at night with locals coming to enjoy the farm to table ingredients done to perfection. The more formal restaurant in the farm house served up traditional multi-course meals with local ingredients (excellent artichoke risotto) and wines from the surrounding vineyards. The "bunet" dessert was amazing!! The pizzeria served some of best wood fire pizza we've ever eaten, along with local italian sodas, and beers. This is also where guests are treated to a simple country breakfast of coffee, tea, juice, biscuits, meringues, yogurt, bread, and homemade hazelnut and fruit spreads. In the farm house, there is a store where one can purchase pasta, beer, wine, bread, and preserved produce and sauces from the farm. For all of us, but especially the children, the farm's sheep, goats, horses, alpacas, geese and even 2 ostriches provided hours of entertainment. Several lambs were born in the days before our arrival and my daughter was very sad to leave them behind. For our family the stay was perfect - excellent hospitality from Angela, Andrea and their children and staff. They are fluent in Italian, French and English. We look forward to returning in the fall.
