Wonderful and cozy appartement. The host, Francesco, is very friendly and he makes sure that you have everything you need. The appartement gets cleaned every day by a nice lady. We never experienced such a hotel-like service in a holiday home before. There is free parking but not directly at the accomodation. A public parking lot (free of charge) is about 3 min away. Monticchiello is perfectly situated for day trips in Val d'Orcia. The cities of Pienza, S. Quirico, Montepulciano, Montalcino etc. are easy to reach. One "negativpoint": although the appartement is freshly renovated, it still is in a very old house. You can hear the guests in the appartement above walking around. This was sometimes quite annoying.

Il posto e’ unico e splendido. Nella casa di Francesco c’è tutto quello che serve per sentirsi bene e a casa. Francesco e’ stato gentile e disponibilissimo. Ci ha anche dato suggerimenti per percorsi di trekking e posti da vedere. Il letto comodissimo, le lenzuola profumate. Bagno in perfette condizioni. Quando siamo arrivati l’appartamento era ancora freddo e Francesco non ha esitato a darmi un secondo piumino e ad accendermi la pompa di calore. Torneremo a soggiornarvi.

Francesco è stato molto gentile e disponibile. La casa è molto bella, ben arredata e pulitissima. Monticchiello è un gioiellino da scoprire. Sicuramente consigliato!

Logement de grande qualité et fonctionnel. Vue superbe face au lit qui est très bon, Machine à café en grains très appréciable, accès en bas à une table extérieure face aux oliviers , grande tranquillité ! Des trattorias et restos variés dans les petites rues avec des cartes plutôt sympathiques . Une situation géographique idéale pour découvrir les alentours, les villages perchés. Enfin un Francesco tres réactif qui nous a rapidement donné de bonnes adresses de vin, huile, miel, fromages....bref un séjour vraiment agréable a tout point de vue.

Francesco is indeed as superhost as titled. His place is very aesthetically pleasing, clean and perfect to relax your mind while on vacation. When I say the place was clean I mean it by heart since our host managed to clean it even during our whole stay. The place has dishwasher, which saved us a lot of time, spacious kitchen with a very big homeoffice friendly table, a very comfortable and huge bed, amazing view, nice bathroom, AC, iron. There was also a teracce when you can easily enjoy a cup of a morning coffee and a book. He offered us also an option to wash our things for free. Francesco also offered delicious breakfast on demand and gave us a loads of tips to do and see in the location. The accomodation was dogfriendly and I can say our dog enjoyed the stay as much as we did. Overall Francesco was very friendly and multitalented so as a bonus I came home with a painting he painted in his gallery in Monticchiello which will always remind me of this stay and beautiful Tuscany.
