This villa is well located to travel around the island. There is a small Spar supermarket in the town which sold most essentials (5 mins drive or 20 minute walk). For a bigger shop an 18 minute drive to Mercadona was straight forward. To travel into Palma on the bus was again easy and cost about 3.5€. You could walk to the bus stop in about 15/20 minutes or drive and park on the side of the road which took 5 minutes. Put into maps S’ Hostal which will take you to park. In Algaida the small local market on Friday mornings had a really good selection of fruits and veg grown in the local area and prices were reasonable. No network connectivity when we arrived in Majorca so couldn’t use any sat nav or open emails for the address of the villa. We called Cosme but no one picked up or answered our message. I suggest printing it. We had to call the uk to get assistance. There is no information in the villa about the local area or amenities. A good stay but would choose owner rental next time.

Le coin extérieur est joli piscine très agréable rien à redire, l intérieur de la maison mériterait un peu de modernité, pour allier l ancien avec le moderne et que cela sente moins le vieux, des pièges à fourmis devraient être mis à la cuisine et la variante entre l’eau chaude et froide à la salle de douche doit être revue et le pommeau de douche changé car les jets sont rudes. Ce sont des critiques constructives car le lieu a tout pour lui. Merci pour la réactivité de Cosme et annonce sérieuse.

Très bon séjour à Mallorca. La maison est conforme aux photos. La piscine et le jardin sont fabuleux. Emplacement idéal pour visiter l’île. C’est un endroit calme et paisible, il est difficile d’ en repartir. La maison est très bien climatisée.

We were treated badly by Cosme which was a shame as the accommodation was very good. On the first evening we made a silly mistake in locking ourselves out of the property (it’s a self-locking door when closed). We were spoken to very rudely by Cosme who made it clear, in an aggressive tone, that he thought we’d been very stupid (I admit, we did make a silly mistake nonetheless we didn’t expect to be spoken to like that). He kept telling us irritably that he lived 60km away. Eventually, after berating us, he did arrange for a locksmith to come. The locksmith arrived within 15 minutes and it took him less than 1 minute to unlock the door. We were told to pay EUR 135 in cash for that service. Again we spoke to Cosme who made us feel so foolish as we didn’t have the full amount in cash. We eventually managed to sort it but it left a bitter taste in the mouth. It was a pity as the property itself was very nice.

Cosme hatte uns vor Ankunft in der Finca angerufen, um uns mitzuteilen, dass mit dem Strom in der Gegend Probleme gab (Betraf mehrere Fincas und auch Restaurants in der Nähe) und bei uns die Klima Anlage ausfällt. Uns wurde sofort eine Alternative oder ein guter Rabatt auf den Gesamtpreis angeboten. Wir haben uns für den Rabatt entschieden, da wir uns damit arrangieren konnten so zu schlafen und uns tagsüber nicht im Haus aufhielten. Cosme war stets erreichbar und freundlich. Die Finca war sehr sauber und wie beschrieben. Einzig das zweite Schlafzimmer ist auf einer Empore und man hat keine Privatsphäre. Der duschkopf war etwas veraltet und das Wasser kam mit starkem Druck raus. Das war’s eigentlich mit den negativ Punkten. Das Anwesen war wirklich ein Traum. Danke an Cosme für diese tolle Unterkunft.
