we have had an amazing stay in Olga's unique and beautiful house. the house is fully equiped and so welcoming for guests. the view is spectacular , we enjoyed every minute of this expiriance note that driving up and down the mountain when using the house as ahomebase for your trip as we did, is A bit challenging ;) but that depends on the driver. we didn't have any problem , my older parents expirianced it as a challenge..

We had a magical time in Olga's house! The first thing that struck us was the natural coolness on what was a series of very hot days (about 40 degrees C). It's built so that air circulates through. The second thing is that it's a home and not just a rental property. It's clear that Olga and her family have spent a lot of time here, and it feels as comfortable and well-equipped as your own home would be. Everything is meticulously clean and organised. The location is beautiful, with an amazing view over the city of Volos below. The garden is an oasis of green and colourful flowers. The terrace has a stone table that is in the shade all day long thanks to an overhanging tree and the strategically placed parasol. The pool is simply stunning, and a good size for our 6-person family. The water in the house comes from the mountain spring and is super clean and delicious. The picturesque village of Portaria is a 15-minute walk up the hill, and has a number of good restaurants. Olga was very easy to communicate with - we did this through the AirBnB chat function as well as Whatsapp, in German. We would advise that you use a car rather than a van if possible, as the drive is quite steep.

We had a wonderful time in Olga’s fantastic house. The house is so big and cosy at the same time. Really well decorated. The view is superb. The pictures don’t do the house justice at all. Because the house is at 500 m altitude you don’t need airco and to our big surprise it had WiFi. We really recommend this place!

Lovely villa in a fantastic location. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance and amazing scenery for hiking.
