There are no cameras once inside.*** Antler House is a beautifully remodeled two-level, three-bedroom, three-bathroom townhome located at Chateau D'Oex. It is a short 7-minute, 0.4-mile walk to The Village and fairly close to Canyon Lodge. This property features a balcony (with partial views of the Sherwin Mountain Range), a fully equipped kitchen with gorgeous concrete countertops and stainless steel appliances, both hardwood and slate-tiled floors, luxurious furnishings, a washer/dryer, a propane grill (hard-lined, no tank necessary) and a gas fireplace (operated by the flip of a switch). Stay smart during your vacation with the 50" SMART TV and Alexa-enabled Sonos speaker. One thing to note: make sure to bring your cell phone, this unit has no landline. All bedrooms have brand new bedding with plenty of pillows. The upstairs master bedroom has a new queen mattress and a private remodeled bath. The second and third bedrooms are downstairs - one has a new queen over queen bunk bed and the other has two side-by-side queen beds with a private bath. If you choose to bring the whole family, this property also provides a pack 'n' play for your convenience. Each bedroom is furnished with a brand new flat-screen TV with Roku box (access your existing subscriptions like Netflix, Hulu Plus, or Prime Video). This unit offers free wireless internet, is non-smoking, and has 2 parking spaces - one assigned space in front of the unit and another spot in the guest parking. Additional parking is also available at the overflow lot (in the grass on the other side of the hot tub). Just 20 steps from the front door, you will find an outdoor spa, sauna, and laundry facilities (in addition to those already provided in the unit) offered by the Chateau D'Oex community. Antler House in Chateau D'Oex is a highly rated rental home in Mammoth Lakes. It is close to many landmarks including Canyon Lodge and Eagle Express. The Village is less than a mile away! Yosemite National Park is a quick 40-minute drive and there are several sightseeing activities, including the historic mining town in Bodie State Historic Park! Great place for families in a very nice location close to mammoth mountain. I stayed with my wife and kids and along with our friends and their kids. We were very comfortable in the space and loved being able to have a home cooked meal and extra space for the kids to play. The location is very close to mammoth and has a great places nearby to play in the snow. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back someday!
Our group of 4 women had a great stay at the Chateau d'Oex condo. Everyone felt it was exactly as pictured and very comfortable for the group of our size. We gathered often around the big dining table just off the kitchen and were pleased with how well equipped the kitchen was for all of our light meal prep needs. We used the outside balcony one evening just to enjoy the night air. The short walk into town made it easy to get around at night without having to drive. The condo was centrally located for a whole host of other activities be it sightseeing, hiking or finding a great restaurant. The Von's Supermarket in town had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Our host checked in on the first day by text just to make sure everything was ok and we didn't need anything, a very nice touch. We're all planning to return to this property next year.
This is a perfect place for a family retreat and reunion. With three bathrooms and four queen size beds it fits a big group. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking utensils. The location is wonderful and it was lovely to enjoy the outdoor deck. On the deck they have an outside heater for when it gets chilly at night. And there is a lovely gas fireplace inside. Though the hot tub was not working while we were there, it is located right across the street for easy access.
We had a group of six and were comfortable in the condo. Its definitely as represented in the pics- good hottub onbsite in the complex and fantastic location to access whatever you want in Mammoth. Kitchen is well equipped and baths well-appointed. Great spot!
