Cliff's Cabin was absolutely the best get-away location we have ever booked. It was quiet, peaceful and secluded. We saw deer everyday right outside the window and warmed up by the fire. Amber and Raymond went above and beyond to make our stay perfect in so many ways. We were sad to leave and hope to return again in the future. We would highly recommend this cabin with all of its unique art and special stories to anyone looking for a beautiful experience in the mountains of Montana.
What an amazingly beautiful and peaceful location! And Cliff’s cabin is just as described but even more amazing to experience yourself. We were lucky enough to experience the cabin just after the first snowstorm of the season and it truly was a winter wonderland. This is the perfect place to be if you love being immersed in nature in perfect serenity. If you need a short break from that, Livingston is a short drive and worth a visit. A family of mule deer were frequent visitors, grouse, rabbit, squirrel and even a kitty came by to welcome us. Raymond is such a wonderful host and called us to say we could check in early because the cabin was ready. Raymond & Amber have a beautiful story themselves and Amber is an incredible artist. Her studio is close by and we hope to have a tour the next time we visit. Bring your laptop/ipad if you want to watch movies in the evening as there is no TV. Of course, you are close to Yellowstone so Cliff’s cabin is the perfect location!
The cabin was perfect for us. Only about 10 minutes from Livingston and very private. It snowed while we were there and there was plenty of firewood. Would definitely stay here again!
Our stay was just as wonderful as last year! What’s not to love about this special place? The decor creates a comfy, cozy feel although the cabin itself is quite open and airy. And the furniture is super comfortable. The icing on the cake is always how super clean it is. Will return again for sure!
It was fabulous, lots of deer and other wildlife to see in the evenings.

自我介绍
We live an enchanted life up here beneath the boundless beauty of Montana’s painterly sky. My daily commute to work is a walk through the woods to my studio. I am an artist. Raymond has a Masters in plants and soil science and has spent the better part of two decades healing the earth via reclamation work. But his work took him far from home too much of the time (we saw each other 17 days one year) so he currently spends his days “talking shop” with local ranchers while keeping them in whatever John Deere equipment they need. Raymond can often be found in a dusty rodeo arena, his black cowboy hat gleaming with fresh bull snot as he protects young bull riders. My own outdoor passions are outside the rodeo arena; ice climbing, mountaineering, mountain biking, white water sports to name a few. When we venture outdoors together we tend toward tamer pursuits so that our lovely crazy-smart dog Tala can accompany us (hiking, camping and cross-country skiing). Bhutan has been the focus of our recent travels since I am working on a special project carving for the king. Raymond joined me for a few weeks during my last stint overseas – we have such a BLAST traveling together…! Both of us love Momma Nature. We enjoy people and all things artistic; music, theater, fine art, books, movies, food, wine, whiskey and dessert.
