This place is really nice and has everything you need to enjoy your stay independently. We had a great time there. It is well located to reach some locations to do walking trips and directly around the corner there is a moor known for bird watching.

Mooi huisje met een prachtig uitzicht. Een soort luxe kamperen, met een buitendouche en Dixi. Gitte was zelf niet aanwezig, maar via een berichtje is alles goed uitgelegd. We misten wat keukenspullen (bijv. blikopener of schilmesje), maar verder was alles aanwezig.

Beautiful view, quite place and comfortable accommodation. Perhaps a blackout blind on the door would be useful.

The small Sommerhus is a real gem. You are indeed in the middle of nature. Surrounded by flora and fauna, you immediately feel grounded and relaxed. you can watch birds, horses and butterflies and if you are lucky, a frog or two will take a visit. While you are staying at this place you have the chance to discover the most beautiful surrounding areas. Lundfjord is a 10mins walk away. Thy National Park and Cold Hawaii are definitely worth a visit as for sure: Blokhusbeach, wich is 20 - 30 mins drive away. The small Summerhus has a good kitchen included as well as an outdoors and indoors sitting arangement. It has mosquito nets which allow you airing the hus, the beds are also quit comfortable and the warm outdoor shower is a pure bliss. What we did not like was the lack of communication through Gitte. No explanation how to Check-In ( only after further enquiry ), or how to lock the door ( if you are not used to this kind of security locks ) as well as the lack of tidiness. When we arrived, the Sommerhus looked clean. But when we checked out the Outdoor toilet, the guests before apparently did not know how to use a compostable toilet. Used toilet paper ( you know, for the "big job" ) was thrown in the bucket of wood that is normally used for covering your "deposits". The first thing we had to do was to clean the bucket which ,you can imagine, is not the best welcome gift you can get. Heating was also not possible / did not work. Extra toiletpaper, trash bags were also missing which would have been good to have, but not so important and quickly re-bought anyways. We think, that with a better way of communication of the host, it could be more welcoming for future guests. All in all we would give this accommodation a 3,5/4 out of 5 due to the aforementioned deficiencies . Price-performance ratio is great, you get a unique view, are in the middle of nature and sleep in a comfortable small house with a great , warm outdoor shower and a kitchen for daily basic meals.
